Terms of service

These terms govern your use of microdesk.com.au and any purchase made through it. The site is operated by Net Affinity Pty Ltd (ABN 62 168 147 582), trading as Microdesk ("Microdesk", "we", "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Products & pricing
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. We take reasonable care to ensure prices and product information are accurate, but errors can occur — if we discover a pricing or listing error after you order, we'll contact you before proceeding and you may cancel for a full refund. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
2. Orders & payment
Placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline (for example, if stock is unavailable or payment cannot be verified). Payment is processed securely at checkout; we do not store your full card details. Business accounts approved for purchase order or invoiced terms are subject to separate credit terms agreed with our business team.
3. Shipping & delivery
Orders placed before 2pm AEST typically dispatch the same business day from our Sydney or Melbourne warehouses. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates only, and we're not liable for delays caused by the carrier or events outside our reasonable control.
4. Returns & warranty
Unopened stock can be returned within 30 days of delivery — see our Warranty & returns page for details. Manufacturer warranty claims are handled through our support team on your behalf. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer guarantees you're entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded — including guarantees that products are of acceptable quality and fit for purpose.
5. Accounts & acceptable use
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to interfere with its operation, scraping content, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos and product descriptions — is owned by Microdesk or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission, except as needed to use the site for its intended purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Microdesk's liability for any claim relating to your use of this site or a product purchased through it is limited to the replacement of the goods, resupply of the service, or refund of the amount paid.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
